Commerce promotes Noo Nid food truck project in Bangkok
The Ministry of Commerce is now launching the “Noo Nid” food taste project actively so as to make it another option for people to eat good and quality food at low price.
The latest campaign includes the invitation of food vendors to join it’s Noo Nid food truck project to make Bangkok not only the best street food in the world but also at low prices.
The food truck project is part of the Ministry’s Noo Nid food taste project aimed at selling food with quality but at low price to the people to ease their high cost of living.
The ministry is now cooperating with the Bangkok Metropolitan Admistration (BMA) to select suitable areas in tourist destinations to place the Noo Nid food trucks.
Deputy Minister of Commerce Sontirat Sontijirawong said that its Noo Nid Food Truck project and its general food truck which offered low-priced food for public by the Ministry of Commerce has drawn interest from the food truck vendors.
At present, the BMA is in the process to select the proper space, which will be focused on the tourist sites. It was expected that the project could be launched soon.
The Noo Nid food truck project in Bangkok aims to have at least 35 operators to join the in the campaign this year.
He said the Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP) will seek a fund to support the Noo Nid food truck operators.
